A: Yes, we sell windows and doors made to fit a custom home’s design specifications.
Q: Does Standard Building Supplies deliver to out–of– town construction sites?
A: Yes, we deliver to out of town construction sites as far east as the Thompson Okanagan region and as far north as Pemberton.
Q: Does Standard Building Supplies Ltd. sell trusses made to spec?
A: Yes, we sell custom made trusses manufactured as per provided engineered drawings. For those contractors or homebuilders who do not have engineered drawings, Standard Building Supplies’ engineering department can design trusses based on the plans provided.
Q: Is Standard Building Supplies a wholesale building supplier?
A: Yes, but we also sell retail.
Q: What are Standard Building Supplies hours of operation?
A: Both our Burnaby and North Vancouver yards are open from 6am–5pm on Monday–Friday and 8am–4pm on Saturday.
Q: What is the average delivery timeline for international orders?
A: Stock orders usually ship within 1–2 weeks. Custom orders usually ship within 3–7 weeks. Call our toll free number at 1–800–298–4411 to confirm delivery time.
Q: Why can’t I place an order online?
A: Depending on your order size or the product you are ordering, you may qualify for contractor pricing or other special discounts that depend on the time the order is placed. This special pricing can not be determined online because for some products, such as lumber, prices can change dramatically from month to month.
